ESPIONAGE: THE FIRST CASE EVER IN THE INDUSTRIAL HEMP INDUSTRY
This past weekend in Lee County, Virginia, the Hempijuana industrial hemp farm came under drone attack. The drones spied upon the farm to steal proprietary farming practices from world-renowned hemp expert, Dr. John O’Connor PhD, author of Farming Industrial Hemp: Not Your Daddy’s Tobacco (with coauthors Shawn Valor and Kirsten Schuder). The book contains a revolutionary approach to farming industrial hemp, changing the face of the industrial hemp industry with the truth about growing safe hemp. State agriculture departments and international governments in South Africa and Hong Kong are using the book as reference for regulations and growing practices.
The first drone attacked the Hempijuana farm Friday, September 20th, 2019.The 5-foot aircraft hovered 20 feet above their field at 6AM in the cover of the darkness, right before the dawn, using infrared night vision to scan the field for hemp plants. Over the weekend, the attacks continued under the cover of darkness at 6AM and 9PM.
Farming Industrial Hemp: Not Your Daddy’s Tobacco released in August and became a #1 book on Amazon.com, making waves in the hemp industry and becoming the talk of the top players. Featured in Valor’s seminar at the Southern Hemp Expo, the book made waves throughout the expo. As the authors reveal, hemp absorbs all impurities from the ground. When grown in old tobacco fields, Hemp becomes toxic. The book provides the remedies so growers don’t lose their crop and livelihood through producing toxic plants. In addition, Dr. O’Connor is working on a study proving why hemp goes hot—over the legal delta-9 limit of 0.3% THC. The journal article will be published in 2020.
This vital information has put those looking to sell toxic hemp on notice. “I suppose we made some millionaires in the industry nervous,” O’Connor reflects. The coauthors’ book has been on the tongues of industry leaders and lawmakers. Several companies have already threatened Hempijuana and Dr. O’Connor.
O’Connor and Valor managed to down the first two drones with flashlights, blinding the remote pilot’s night vision. The first two drones, whose flight into the Hempijuana farm broke federal FAA laws for spying, invasion of airspace, flying at night, and state laws for spying and peeping into private property, are now somewhere on the Hempijuana property. Hempijuana plans a Kickstarter closed event in order to find the drones and track down the leaders responsible.
Hempijuana is a hemp farm/consulting company run by Dr. John O’Connor PhD. Dr. O’Connor participated in the early pilot programs in Virginia during the original Farm Bill, working with the universities.
